Alyssa Ackerman is a recent graduate from University of Wisconsin – Madison with degrees in Art and Psychology. She is a fiber artist whose work explores themes of femininity, vulnerability, and intimacy through hand embroidered portraiture. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in California, Florida, and Wisconsin. Notably, her art has been featured in Art Basel in Miami and her work is included in the late esteemed Peggy Cooper Cafritz’s collection.
